I think it is very important for the Democrats to press forward with their Green New Deal. It would be great for the so-called “Carbon Footprint” to permanently eliminate all Planes, Cars, Cows, Oil, Gas & the Military - even if no other country would do the same. Brilliant!

Trump is underestimating the resolve of the American people when it comes to Climate Change and the Green New Deal. To prevent Yellow Vest style protests from coming here, we will tax the hell out of rich people and huge corporations rather than the ordinary citizen needing fuel.

In fact, the super rich should pay for our transition to clean energy. And while we’re at it, they should pay for our infrastructure which has been crumbling. Bridges are collapsing and trains are getting derailed. Our waterways and canals are totally dysfunctional.

Rich “billionaires” like Trump and all the other plutocrats know nothing about the struggles of the low and middle class. They have been sucking our country dry, eliminating jobs with automation and getting massive profits while income inequality reaches historic levels.

When it comes to paying for the cost of climate change and transitioning to clean energy, it makes absolute sense that the uber rich and the oil companies should pay the full cost since they are the ones who have raped and pillaged our environment for record profits.

So yes, our country needs the Green New Deal and all the carbon taxes should be shoved onto the shoulders of the top 0.1% who can afford it and who have the responsibility to clean up their own mess.

Thanks Joe. Hopefully common sense will prevail in our country and the world when it comes to addressing climate change. It has to, because this is by far the greatest existential threat to our species other than nuclear war.
