I'll be honest, I'm pretty disappointed by how you seem to have been reducing the general response to Russ, which has been mostly justified outrage and a lot of -very- valid and well-reasoned criticism, to "personal business" and "a Twitter garbage fire"

At least from what I've seen, the bulk of the response to Russ has been VERY warranted criticism, not the big ball of drama you seem to be making it out to be
When I see things being said that are outright untruths and mischaracterization, I tend to get annoyed. I spend 1/3 my time on here dealing with gater trash working VERY hard to convince people I'm a "eugenicist" for lulz and another 1/3 dealing with "progressives"...

That doesn't make it okay to trivialize the entirety of the discussion, especially when the bulk of it is still being had in good faith. It's not okay to respond to mischaracterization with more mischaracterization.

I've made it very clear what it was I had any issue with. There's plenty of perfectly valid criticism as well, I simply haven't commented on it. I'm not The Escapist's publicist.

My relationship to it is *busting my ass* for over a year and putting a bunch of my life on hold to make a real effort at restoring a part of my own legacy that got taken from me and tainted back to something meaningful - and after having done that, at considerable cost...
