I just wonder about Turkey. Was there a civil war & Erdogan fled to rule a rump state in eastern Anatolia? Or did an alliance of Russia, Serbia, Greece & Bulgaria occupy Istanbul and set up a protectorate like the crusaders did in 1204? Is there now a Kurdish People's Republic?

I feel like if there was a Kurdish revolt in this Turkey, it also had to do with Iran successfully re-invading Baathist Iraq and taking over Kurdistan as part of the peace settlement.
