Sad to say the furry fandom isn't the only victim of change like this, people in general have been slowly growing more spiteful toward each other, I've noticed this throughout my entire life with the people I feel closest to, which I hate because I know they're all good people...

People aren't growing more spiteful, though. People are simply realizing that ignoring bad behavior only allows it to continue. Evil only succeeds when people do nothing to stop it. You shouldn't hate good people for doing something about evil.

Furry fandom isn't a victim of anything. People are finally realizing they can speak out against bad behavior instead of ignoring it. Tolerating bad behavior in the fandom sends the message that it's okay and attracts more of it. Is that the fandom you want?

Idea: Every time someone makes these bad faith "you just have a disagreement over a simple different opinion" arguments where they're intentionally vague and obfuscate what those "different opinions" are I'm gonna assume they support necrobestiality.
