    The tombstone of auxiliary cavalryman Rufus Coutus, both as found & reconstructed in colour. Originally from the Helvetii, Coutus served for 18 years in a Hispanian cavalry unit, & died at the age of 36 at (Mainz), while in military service.

    I should point out that the classic winter wear- now filtered through to teenage male civilians, but absolutely uniform across the SDF- is the Turkish Army digicam cold weather jacket, acquired from where I have no idea

    Very nerdy post, but the SDF have a whole new stock of widely distributed issue winter clothing including 1) tactical OG fleeces 2) Knock-off Multicam smocks 3) A sort of cross between a bomber jacket & the classic Snugpak Sleeka only worn by Asayis
