Who would have guessed that a bottom-feeder who lies on behalf of animal abusers like Kero to juice up his channel, is complicit with nauseating stuff. I got tipped about PKrussel last week. First thing I saw was him favoriting drawn CP, not "cubs" but human toddler depictions. https://twitter.com/spicycavy/status/1080222336220102657 …

Also I'd say "pick your battles", the effort is better spent on more direct problems. It would shift to other places anyways (which doesn't defend it) and you know how cops leave known illegal files up as a honeypot for catching unknowns. You say "convicted", but I see only "charged". Big difference there! Though perhaps not for IB; we're an 18+ site anyway, so we don't have a reason to exclude on that basis. As you say, better to have those you are concerned about visible and drawing fictional animal characters.
-
Lol, expected :) checking registries would be a reasonable expectation then for those complicit with the visibility. It's undeniably super shady with Softpaw's known status, putting "fictional" defense on thin ice and not a big difference. Thankfully we can all have opinions.
-
And thankfully we all have places to express those, for now!
Registries are a reasonable precaution for event volunteers with privileged access or authority, particularly those interacting with minors. In the UK it's free to non-profits, but then in the UK most events are 18+

I wouldn't rely on the technical difference between a privileged contributor and one merely using a platform for recidivist tendency, if there's a need to discuss how recidivism is a scary risk. But i get to make my own mistakes on my site at my own risk, so enough said :)

Sure, but the point is to get rid of CP and its creators or platforms, right? If we need an archive/resource like you said, wikifur will suffice.
-
Wikifur has the same owner as IB, who is doing the encouraging in that archive link. It really illustrates what "getting rid of" entails.
-
Wait, who owns Wikifur and what I'm understanding is they are pro-CP??? Is he the same guy who owns Flayrah or?
-
Same owner. I'll let the encouragement in that archive link above speak for itself.
