She suggests that AS is prevalent in Labour when the evidence (and the day to day experience of those of us actually involved in the party) shows it is not. And we do not see her campaigning about the AS which undoubtedly exists in other parties and beyond. 2/
This is a clearly focused campaign against the Labour Party specifically. Others are doing the same, Riley is following a path well-trodden by embittered ex-Labour celebs like Tony Robinson, Frances Barber and Tracy Ann Oberman. 3/
They once felt they had ownership of the party, now the members have taken over and they don't like it. And these people stick together, united no doubt by a sense of their own self-importance. 4/
Co-presenter Nick Hewer and national treasure Stephen Fry have stepped to Riley's defence. If only they would look at the issues a little more closely. 5/
The best way to describe this campaign is as a collective libel of Labour members, ordinary people who devote their time and energy to fighting against discrimination, and for a more just and equal society. 6/

Over the weekend it was reported that Riley is needing extra security because abuse/threats. Again, no specifics. Are we talking about the legitimate defence of our party in the face of these attacks by people like Riley? 8/

Where have you seen on her thread, any threat from anyone? I read all her tweets and responses, and I've not found one threat of violence as yet. It took me a week, but so far nothing. Can you supply me with your evidence.

Most parties have anti-semites in their ranks but Labour in 2019 seem to have institutionalised it once again - hoping to grab some of those UKIP voters perhaps?

The Jewish Policy Research group survey (2018) showed strong antisemitic attitudes were of low prevalence in Britain (3.5%). No differences in AS prevalence across all political groups from far left, left, centre and right....except the far right where AS prevalence was 13%.
