Blacklist Information
These stores are not featured on the masterlist due to a variety of infractions. Because of their problems, I do not wish to put them alongside stores that have been consistently morally upstanding, creative, and polite.
This does not mean I am going to hunt you down and slap you for buying from them, as I understand everyone has their reasons, but please keep in mind that these notes have been added because these are businesses, and as such must be held to a standard sensible for those expected to provide a service.
Source links have been provided when available, but all issues have been looked into prior to addition so those without sources are still proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
So that the rest of the list can be viewed easily, Bad Dragon has been moved to the bottom of the list, out of alphabetical order.
Updates are marked with a 🌟.
——————————————————————————
A Krow’s Nest
- Intruded on Tails & Portholes’ nautical theme after both had been open for an extended period of time; additionally, TnP was open before AKN at all, and so any plans to rebrand later on AKN’s part would have been intruding from the start.
Akifu Toys
- One of the two owners posted content on their linked personal blog in favor of sexism, transphobia, islamophobia, pedophilia, incest, further sexualization of children and racism. Links for all of the above.
Alderdeen / Alder’s Den
- Zoophile.
Blue Ritual
- Produced a tutorial for making toys using stolen information.*
- Copied colors from DamnAverage.

- The product image for the Octopussy features bestiality.
- Dolphin toy appears more like ZetaPaw’s Dolphin than the real penis is it supposedly inspired by; company denies this.

Elypse Art
- Elypse Art links to three separate bestiality forums in their sidebar, two of which have been shut down.
Erasexa
- Fantasy designs are rip-offs of existing toys from stores including but not limited to Bd Dragon, Exotic Erotics, and BD Labs.
Exotic Erotics
- Exotic-Erotics does lifecast animal genitals for silicone replication. Their site goes over the process and answers potential concerns here.
- The artist of the company, Killveous, is aggressive and demanding to other designers, and has stolen designs such as BD’s Kelvin for EE’s Mech.
Fleshlight and Fleshjack
- Fleshlight toys are not a body-safe material and will degrade over time.
Frisky Beast
- Long wait for items and lack of communication; this specific instance was resolved but many have not been.
- This blog has collections of order wait time issues.

- Miscommunication errors and color errors.
- Shipping confusion and lack of communication, coloration error (forum post thread); 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
- A concept similar to the released Mammoth toy was posted on the forums previously. Frisky Beast claims it was not used, and the problem was resolved; original designer did not get resolution.
- Wait times for customs, whether small orders or large, are often upwards of the advertised time frame and can take years; stock items are hit-and-miss.

Monster Delights
- Recent orders had tinsel(?) partially embedded in the surface.
Mr. Hankey’s Toys
- Sexism and slut-shaming on their Twitter account after refusing to pay reviewers properly.
Naughty Dog Labs (later, Inner Vixen)
- Took preorders on a design and never produced it.
Organotoy.de
- Attempted to discredit other creators by claiming metallic pigments would poison users with heavy metals; they do not.
Station Beast
- Buys toys in bulk from sellers for resale; has no agreement with original creators to do so. This seems minor in comparison to other list entries, but it’s illegal.
Twin Tail Creations
- Copied marbles from DamnAverage.
- Started site with incredible similarities to Bad Dragon.
- Continues to defend other stores ripping off existing items.
- Concept art for future releases has looked similar to existing toys; has not listened to criticisms on this.*

- Allowed customers to identify an Exotic Erotics toy as theirs.
- Ripping off Primal Hardwere’s Neigh Sayer sheath with their new Chance sheath.
False Advertising
- 🌟 Inventory images may not reflect the actual product.
- Used badly lit photographs to advertise a returning color, making it appear vastly different from the actual color. No edit to the advertisement was made, and all attempts to clarify came from customers instead of staff.
- Continuing to advertise toys using images of colors that are no longer offered [ex: split lips on penetrables, colored tongues on muzzles; confirmation that they are no longer offered]
- Promised new color options with every release; the only update has been Nox’s natural, in May. [old naturals, new natural]
- Offering some ‘cool surprises’ every time a winner for their contest was announced; nothing was added or dropped, winners were announced quietly through social media and quietly throughout the forum thread.
- “Fun, extra surprises you will need a bigger boat for“ ended up being small plastic sea animals included with some orders. Nothing else was added.
- Pride Month promo was said to have something happening each week. Rainbow stickers were released the first week, and nothing happened until a rainbow drop at the end of the month. No other pride color aside from the rainbows was made available.
- Labs have been declared ‘under maintenance’ for over a year, meaning all designs submitted still belong to Bad Dragon and cannot be created or sold elsewhere, despite the Labs themselves not being used. Nothing has been said about it being officially closed or a returning date.
- The review and reward system, which formerly gave store credit for honest toy reviews, has been removed for ‘updating’ for upwards of a year. Nothing has been said about it being officially closed or a returning date.

Shoddy Quality Control
- CactusWren’s personal quality control experience with an Atomic Blue Fenrir. (Resolved)

- Awful color matching on custom orders, including an incorrect pour of a stock color, as well as a list of errors in other toys.

- Only fixed a customer’s order once the negative reviews were removed.
- Removal of toy warranty, and additional information about the removal.
- Poor customer treatment, and another one, and another one.
- Badly faded colors on expensive custom order, refusal to fix (Partially resolved with small amount of in-store credit)
- Company supporter describing expensive custom orders as ‘a gamble’.
- Please note that many accounts of incorrect colorations, missed flaws in toys, shoddy workmanship, etc have been left off of this list as there are too many to track. Those linked here are the most readily available.
Moral Issues [content below includes racism, sexism, transphobia, rape, bestiality, and mentions of pedophilia]
- 🌟 Early on in the store’s existence, offered a toy simply called ‘the Adolescent’.
- 🌟 Sent product to a sex worker for use in teenage porn, a genre known for underage fantasies. 1, 2, 3, 4.
- A major shareholder and now owner of BD, Kamo, has had rape charges filed against him. There is also backstory from the person filing charges. Link 1, Link 2. (Content warnings for rape, zoophilia, and victim blaming being the most prominent.)
- They own Herpy.net, a site known for encouraging beastiality. [Edit: Herpy.net has been shut down between April 9th and May 23rd, 2016. There has been an ‘apology’ put up in it’s place. An apology does not make up for years of bestiality endorsement.]
- A co-owner of the site sexually abused a dolphin and sent the video to his boyfriend, another co-owner. Neither were fired.
- There have been allegations of employee mistreatment, including transphobia on a co-site, e621. Additional link.
- Multiple instances of transphobic behavior.
- Said they were against the unhealthy BDSM in 50 Shades… and then dropped a ton of gray and gray-marbled toys into adoptions out of the blue. [Does this look like an anti-50-shades promo art piece to you?]
- Have multiple toys based around characters of children’s media, some appearing underage themselves.
- Toy descriptions and images have underage or non-consensual themes. Xar; Snowball; Sugar Star; Nova; Tentacle. Additional link.
- The character of Janine, their dragoness penetrable toy, is repeatedly presented badly; her short story has her nudes shared without her consent, and older art shows her appearing uncomfortable due to the mascot’s actions.
- Shady business practices in removing colors and toys without warning, making customers feel that they have to buy fast. Another toy has been removed.
- Racism on their Twitter and product color names.
- Misogyny on Twitter.
- Cultural insensitivity in having a toy styled after a Chinese dragon. (Note that physical features of the toy do not match up with Chinese lung, but instead resemble the Japanese ryu.)
