 | 18 yrs old / GKA 12th Grade Student. Started ballet since 4, studied under Yukako Sakakibara, Kimiho Hulbert and Naoya Homan. Was moved by the expressiveness of contemporary dance, aspired to be a contemporary dancer. 2nd Place in Contemporary field of the 15th Ballet Competition in Yokohama. 5th Place in the 6th National Ballet Competition in Hachiouji Classic Junior. Awarded in the Caribbean International Movie Prize, for the documentary she made with other students. Performed in the Roppongi Art Night 2018. |

 | 45 yrs old / Hiroyuki Oda Filmmaker, photographer, director. Teaches filmmaking at GKA, developing and bringing active learning into practice. Remi winner of Worldfest-Houston international film festival won with his work “Schoolgirl”. Selected as “Best of Photovogue” in an Italian magazine Vogue (2017.5.3). ARJUN Sharma
 | JAPANESE & INDIAN STUDENT18 yrs old / Arjun Sharma has Indian parents and was born in India, but he spent most of his life in Japan. Since he was small, he has been wondering about his place in world and his true identity, since he is in a unique situation. His life taught him a few lessons on what his identity was, and what we should think of peoples' identities. |
AYAME MOCHIZUKI
 | QUINTILIGUAL STUDENT13 yrs old / Though Ayame Mochizuki is a 7th Grade in Junior High school, she loves to learn languages, and is learning five languages now. She says that learning languages changed her positively. She claims that many people in Japan need more opportunities to talk to foreign people. She will express her feeling on the advantages on intercultural communication, and how it will change your world. |
MOE ISHII + NaNAMI KOBAYASHI
Two 17 year old Japanese high schoolers / GKA ib students ; Nanami and Moe will express their feelings on health classes and taboos, feeling the lack of sex education and mental health recognition in Japanese society, trying to bring the issue to light.

SEAN RYAN KING
 | ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERTeaches English Language Arts at GKA, making all the students do the English speech contest although he hates public speaking and lecturing people. In the spirit of irony and hypocrisy, he will be speaking about how the idea of a self or an identity are cultural constructs and how language and literature can help us transcend the limitations that we use to define ourselves and allow us to become something wholly distinct from either a beast with no higher brain functions or a zombie stuck thinking in the programming of its own culture, to the point where the "self" becomes an unquantifiable point where the center is nowhere and the circumference is everywhere. |
TOMOKATSU KOBAYASHI
| | EX - INTERPRETER86 yrs old / Tomokatsu Kobayashi has worked in the United States for over 60 years as an interpreter for Unted States Army / Department of State supporting the economic growth period of the United States. He now stays in the welfare facility, but devotedly supports for peoples' English Education. Through his unique life experience, he will present what he would like to tell to the young. |
YUI HORI
| | STUDENT / SINGER18 yrs old / A Japanese teenager who is active to become a singer in the future. Started learning singing at the age of 5. Has won a lot of awards including the junior national competition of singing. She was offered to attend in a TV show when a TV company saw her singing in a youtube clip. She has competed in “THE Karaoke★Battle” for five years and won 9 times in a row. She is also active in advertising her local area, she was assigned to be one of the “Ashikaga Kagayaki ambassador” (Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture) and “Ota PR ambassador” (Ota, Gunma Prefecture), who are people assigned by the city to make the place energetic. Nowadays, she performs on 80 stages per year. She is one of the leading young singers who is active throughout the country, as she can sing variety of songs, from Traditional Japanese songs (“Enka”) to western songs. |
