Big talk again by the Syrian official, but this is a clear signal that the regime could allow Turkey to clear the YPG from areas near the Turkish borders (where Kurdish-dominated areas typically are). I reckon the two sides are invoking the old agreement to justify an arrangement

This unprecedented statement also comes days after the YPG leadership revealed that talks with the Syrian regime will start soon. So it could also be a way for the regime to pressure the YPG in the said negotiations.
