Power Savings

Power Savings
  • Reduces power consumption of the display
  • Extends the life of the backlight
  • Quick selection to switch display power settings based on ambient light conditions

Easily change the power consumption of the display during normal daylight and evening work hours based on the ambient light conditions. Schedule the display to go into Standby mode after a predetermined amount time or schedule the display to turn off completely to eliminate all power consumption during idle usage.

An easy-to-use scheduler can set the time of day or night to completely turn off the display and reduce the power consumption to zero watts. When the user forgets to turn off the display, Display Tune will automatically shut the display down to both save power and extend the display's backlight life.

OSD Enhancement

OSD Enhancement
  • Easier to navigate than hardware OSD
  • Large easy-to-use on-screen controls
  • Step-by-step Wizard with simple instructions and sample images

To get the most out of your display, it is important to set it up properly for your particular room lightning, display placement, and vision. Using the buttons on the edge of the display can be confusing, if not difficult.

Display Tune's OSD Enhancement takes all of the display's button functions and transfers them to the screen, where simple buttons and sliders make screen adjustments a breeze.

Sometimes one adjustment can affect other settings. Display Tune groups settings into logical groups so all of the affected settings are in one place. This arrangement makes it simple to fine tune multiple adjustments.

Partition

Partition
  • One-click pre-configured partition layouts
  • Custom partitions
  • Works with multiple displays

Partition organizes the display into predefined regions. Dragging a window to any region automatically aligns the window to that region for better organization and less desktop clutter. Windows can be sent to any region across multiple displays with a simple mouse click.

The desktop can be partitioned into preset regions where the screen is divided equally into two, three, or four regions. Or the regions can be customized in size and number,

Partition works on multiple-display systems. Each screen can have a different, unique set of partitions. One screen can be set up for productivity apps (Word, Excel, etc.), while another screen shows social apps (web browsing, email, etc.)

Auto Pivot

Auto Pivot
  • Dynamically rotates the contents of the display without user input
  • Manual Pivot for displays without a rotation sensor

Rotate your display to portrait orientation to enjoy the advantages of portrait viewing. Pivot can support multiple viewing orientations: portrait 90°, presentation 180°, portrait 270°, and landscape.

Pivot is no longer limited to just desktop solutions, with its multi-viewing orientation capability, it is a must for tablet PCs. With Pivot, you can rotate the display to any orientation for the most productive viewing angle.

PIP & Zoning

PIP & Zoning
  • Fixed area or movable/scalable regions
  • Region adjustments to white point, hue, RGB, brightness and contrast without affecting the desktop Picture In Picture
  • Ideal for multi-function displays that include external video input source Zoning

Picture in Picture (PIP) and Zoning solves the problem by allowing the user to select and adjust a region on the display independently of the entire desktop.

With a simple click of the mouse a user can manage white point, hue, RGB, brightness, contrast or any other supported display adjustment on a selected region without affecting the desktop settings.

The user can define a fixed region or use the Drag-and-Drop feature to select an object within a window or the entire contents of the window to be adjusted. The adjustments will track with the window whenever it is moved or resized.

Each region on the desktop can be optimized for specific applications, such as reduced brightness and increased contrast for text and separate white point, or saturated color and hue settings for a video displayed in a PIP window.

For users of multi-function displays with video input, the Windows Zoning and PIP plug-in provides superior PIP management over traditional and cumbersome manual television OSD hardware because all adjustments are available on a single, easy-to-use software interface.

Theft Deterrence

Theft Deterrence
  • Deters the unauthorized removal or theft of flat panel displays
  • User configurable theft timer and Personal Identification Number (PIN) lock

Theft Deterrence provides an effective software lock mechanism to deter the potential unauthorized removal of flat panel displays. It’s easy to set up and use. Simply install the Theft Deterrence plug-in from within Display Tune, pick a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and set the theft timer value.

The theft timer value determines how long the display operates normally after an unauthorized removal or theft is detected, such as when the display is moved from the host computer to another location.

Once this theft detection is activated, Display Tune Theft Deterrence automatically generates an alert warning message on the display and requests the user to input their unique PIN.

Entering the correct PIN restores the display to normal operation, while an incorrect PIN entry (or no PIN entry after a user definable time lapse) causes the display to render an inverted color ramp or gray scale content — impractical viewing conditions for the unauthorized user.

But don’t worry. Normal operation can be restored once the display is back in the hands of an authorized user. Protect your display and investment now with Display Tune Theft Deterrence.

Asset Management

Asset Management
  • Track and control all displays within a domain from one console application
  • Spreadsheet format provides easy-to-read, detailed information about each display

Asset Management provides the necessary control exclusively on the OEM’s displays with the broadest graphic hardware compatibility.

Display remote control is based on DDC/CI communication, reducing the solution to a single standard monitor cable. There is no need for USB or other proprietary cabling schemes that can introduce complications into the network environment.

Asset Management solution is not limited to vertical markets such as call centers or trading floors which are more specialized. Instead, it is aimed at a broader horizontal market, where it can be used in both small and large domain solutions.

Its broad hardware compatibility allows the IT manager a seamless integration of the OEM’s displays into existing computer configurations without having to upgrade the graphics controller or endlessly searching for a specific supported driver.

Multiple Display Configurations

Multiple Display Configurations
  • Select which display to control
  • Put OSD, partition rotation, and power settings all in one location

Using more than one display can really increase a user's efficiency. However, it is highly unlikely that two or more displays look the same without doing a lot of adjustments.

Display Tune puts all of the controls, for all of your displays, in one place. This makes it easy to match the screens on the displays. For example, brightness and contrast can be the same, so windows look the same when dragging between displays.

Extended Taskbar

Extended Taskbar
  • Taskbar appears on all displays
  • Perfect for multiple monitors

When you have more than one display, it is cumbersome to have the open windows listed on just one display. For example, when selecting a window, how do you know which display it is on?

Display Tune's Extended Taskbar shows the taskbar across all displays. There is an option so the taskbar on each display shows only the windows that are open on that display. You can change the position of the taskbar to the top, bottom, left, or right edge of the display.
