    Corection for Shakariyah, it is not a fully Yazidi Kurdish village but it is mixed with Al-'Adwan Arabs.

    Interesting, Kurds in the Kobanî area use ''qor'' instead of parastin. I suppose this is from Turkish ''Korumak''? (proctect)

    Majority Kurdish neighborhoods of Manbij: -Al-Assadiyah -Al-Assadiyah Al-Gharbiyah -Al-Matah (windmill) -Mamuriyah Mostly located in the poor southern neighborhoods, at the grain silos. City center also had many Kurds.
