Relief for 800k DACA recipients is not a bad thing to put on table, especially if just temporary. But need MORE than just $5B in border wall in exchange. Goodlatte was looking at $25B in wall, e-verify, visa tracking and more. Losing leverage for other items is not good!

That’s not relief at all. DACA isn’t even in trouble at this moment so it’s an empty promise. Permanent relief and a clear path to citizenship is the right thing to do.

You are missing the point. All we need right now is to complete a FUNDING BILL. These are intended 'sweeteners' to make it possible to compromise and get the govt open. Trump should be commended for at least putting some ideas on this. Any full immigration bill will come LATER.
