Hi everyone and welcome to our brand new sub /r/EuroSkincare! We are all super glad to have you here!
As you can see, we are still very much under construction for now. What you can do at this state is read our rules and request a flair.
We would like to hear what are your suggestions about EuroSkincare's organization!
Our sidebar is still extremely underdeveloped, that's why we are searching for passionate content creators! If you would like to write wiki content for the sidebar, shoot us a modmail!
But more than anything, yaaay! Let's all say hello and discuss what we expect from /r/EuroSkincare from now on! I am Ronrinesu (Teti) from the /r/AsianBeauty mod team and you might have seen me around if you visit that sub! I am EU-based and I am super passionate about this whole sub turning out one amazing open space for constructive discussion about Eu skincare.
Also feel free, to start any discussions related to Euro Skincare! It feels kind of empty now but I am certain very soon, we will be a lively place!
Hi everyone, I’m travelling in Europe for 5 weeks and my Thayers Witch Hazel leaked in my toiletries bag. I’ll be hopping around Europe for another 2 weeks before settling in Paris. I’m currently in Vienna but heading to Munich and Berlin soon.
I have no idea what to look for. Ideally i need something that’s affordable and easy to find but any suggestions would be a big help. I have dry skin and would love something that’s gentle.
I’m a bit clueless. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated!
Moved to Northern Europe from North America and am trying to get a handle on this new climate and products. Would love your expert input -
Do you wear SPF or moisturizer with SPF during the day in the winter?
While the climate here is more mild than where I'm from, the WIND is crazy and my skin feels totally stripped when I come back inside even after a short bit outside. Would love your fave creams for keeping that skin feeling great through windy climate. (Nivea all the time?)
Skin profile: 40yo, mild rosacea.
I currently use Ziaja Sensitive Moisturizer SPF 20 but as I am quite pale I'm looking for something with higher protection. I'll welcome any recommendations for affordable SPF product (under 10 or 15€ if possible) that does not contain fragrance and is available in the Czech Republic.
would love any suggestions! I found my holy grail concealer in paris and i can not find it anywhere else.
Hey, Euro living in the US here. I am going home soon and plan to make a large pharmacie order shipped to my family home ready for when I arrive to stock up (because it's a hell of a lot cheaper to buy most of these products in Europe if they even are available in the US).
I have a list of my usual sources (below) but I was wondering if you guys knew of any other stores I didn't know about. Free shipping within the EU is always a plus (it will be a large order, so free shipping over 50/75/100 Euro works too), but of course, I don't mind paying for shipping if the total works out to be cheaper anyway.
The products I will be looking for:
The stores I am aware of:
Thanks in advance!
Hi!
So I’ve been trying to find a good BHA serum/cream/solution that doesn’t break the bank, preferably in Spain, but no luck yet! Any advice or recommendations?
Hello everyone! I recently moved to Germany, and a messed up sleep cycle is leaving me with deep, dark circles. I have tried The Ordinary's caffeine eye solution, but it worked only for my puffyness.
Can any of you please recommend a product for dark circles that is easy to find in Germany? Thank you! 💖
Hello all! I am sorry if this has been posted before, I can't seem to find the relevant information.
I am looking to incorporate Vitamin A into my beauty routine, and in /u/Skincareaddiction Tretinoin comes highly recommended. I have only recently moved to Germany, so I don't know the brands or the protocol here.
My questions are: What are Tretinoin known as in Germany, and how can I get it?
Thank you very much!
Has anyone had anything positive to say about this sunscreen? It has been released recently in Australia, but I was hoping to gain more insight from other people, from this sub.
At the moment, I still gravitate towards Japanese sunscreens (e.g. Nivea Super Water Gel SPF 50), but this sunscreen is a winner for me and does tend to be more elegant than other French sunscreens and does not irritate my eyes whatsoever. Only cons seem to be slight stickiness, even with 5% alcohol, and the 30AUD$ price tag is a little steep.
Basically I saw reviews on the hydro boost and wanted to try it but read that it wasn't available in my country. However today I have found that exact line of products (along with some other Neutrogena products I haven't seen yet) in Müller. So yeah Müller is now gonna be my go to skincare store right after Dm.

I was wondering if anyone tried their exfoliants and/or knows what the % of salicylic acid is in the Cheer Up and the Calm Down products, as they don't specify it on their website
Hello guys :)
For years now I've been using the Isana Med ultra sensitive Feuchtigkeitscreme. It has been the only thing my skin really tolerated, as it is sensitive to Cetearyl alcohol and alcohol denat as well as perfume and silicones.
So now I hope to profit from your combined knowledge! Do you know of any German moisturizer without these ingredients? So no Neutrogena Hydroboost (contains silicones) out Cetaphil (fatty alcohols).
My best guess would be the Sensitive series from dm. But it has SPF which I do not really like at night....
I thank you in advance! :)
I'm heading to Rome for a few weeks and I was wondering if there is anything worth check out. Thx!
Hello everyone!
I'm in Germany and I was checking amazon for toners and found a brand called RAU; couldn't find anything about this brand on reddit's SCA and Euroskincare so what do y'all think? It has 110 reviews and a 4.5 star rating. Here are also the ingredients:
AQUA (WATER), PROPYLENE GLYCOL, GLYCOLIC ACID, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, POLYGLYCERYL-4 CAPRATE, SORBITOL, CITRIC ACID, MALIC ACID, TARTARIC ACID, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, CAMELIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE, PHENOXYETHANOL
My others qs:
Weather's getting colder and it's drying my skin so I want a beast of a moisturizer to keep my body silky smooth! Any inexpensive recommendations? I tried the Dove Hydro recently and absolutely hated it bc it felt so useless! I really like lush's lotions and lotion bars but they're rather pricey and don't last long with me (I have long legs so that means slathering on more product).
Also, where can I find alcohol-free witch hazel? I found a brand called Humphreys on amazon.de after a very very thorough search but it takes sooo much time to ship :((
Thanks in advance beautiful people!
I am new to Europe (Czech Republic) from the US. I want to try ALL the European skincare, obviously, but have no idea where to start without just buying the whole pharmacy. I would love to see what is on your guy's shelves so does this sub do shelfies like the main skincare sub? If so, can we see them??
Hi all,
I need a pure hydrating toner. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks
I work out a lot, and despite always wearing a clean sports bra and changing out of it immediately, I always have some low-level bacne. Fun.
Anyway, I used to use a body spray with salicylic acid in the U.S., but since moving to the Netherlands, I've had trouble finding a product like that. Any tips?
Thanks!
Hello people!
- looking for glossy, matt, lush or discreet , but always soft armour shielding my lips from the UV-rays. I am interested in lip balms, lip oils, lip sticks etc. Would you mind sharing your respectively knowledge - which has at least SPF 15? My search has not been very successful so far in my German drugstore at home.
Thank you so much in advance!
I'm looking for a moisturizer with SPF targeted towards combo/oily skin. I was wondering if anyone ever tried moisturizers from common brands like La Roche-Posay, Avène,... I know they have good products, but I have no idea which ones specifically. Any recs ?
Thank you!
