I know that this may not be the popular opinion here but... It sounds to me like he went above and beyond for you time and time again and eventually... it just came to be too much. It's not that he doesn't care, it's probably more that you can only care so much about someone else before it begins to negatively affect yourself and your family.
What you NEED, is a cheap $15 phone from the nearest convenience store, with a stable number. You can use it for jobs ONLY. I'm afraid you're very close to learning what it's like to lose everything and... At your age, that has to be terrifying. But you need to keep a level head and start putting together the absolute necessities. What belongings can you not lose and where can you store them? Where can you find a safe bed to sleep in at night? What shelters and food pantries are available?
It's going to get tough... But you'll come out of it a stronger person for it... Believe me, I know. I've been there.
You know... this is really getting out of hand, and mean this for all of you. Did you two ever think of using the Job Service to look for jobs? Going to a local library to check emails for offers? Craigslist has jobs too ya know...
You could also consider selling a lot of personal items at a pawn shop or something too to get money.
There are solutions. Bitching about everyone else making it so hard on LJ and FA is not the answer.Trust me, I learned this lesson myself a while back.
