I'm making a thread of articles that I think are seminal to understanding the crisis we're in, but have largely been played down. They describe massive and horrific crimes that have been carried out with impunity by people in Trump's camp, often for years or decades.
1. The US Treasury was infiltrated by Russia in 2015 with the active aid of US Treasury officials. The Obama admin knew and did not stop it. The Trump admin is complicit, and treason in the treasury continues under Mnuchin's watch. 3) Jeffrey Epstein case. Epstein is a sex trafficker of underage girls who avoided real punishment. 4) Trump was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl procured by Epstein. In November 2016, lawyer Lisa Bloom attempted to represent the victim. After they both got death threats, the press conference and then suit were dropped. Bloom in 2016:https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_10619944 …
5) US infrastructure has been hacked, most notably the grid. There are many more undercovered stories, but the press seems particularly reluctant to pursue these. Which is not surprising since those who do write about them are threatened. Why officials also seem reluctant to investigate or prosecute obvious crimes - now there's a story...

You should read Wayne Barrett and David Cay Johnson's books on tRump. Both writers have been writing about the crimes of tRump and his father for decades. Johnson is a Pulitzer Prize winner.
