    True, but a mere announcement by DJT of an intention to do so would be enough to shatter the ground.

    POTUS can't pull out of that easily. Everyone needs to calm down. There is strong support for NATO in the US nat-sec community. A strong POTUS push for a pull-out will be met with a lot of resistance.
