    If US troops withdraw, It is either Turkey or Assad or both of them who will regain control of SDF/YPG areas, plain and simple. Unless Trump has reversed his decision to withdraw, his threats to Turkey are another free gift for Russia and Assad.

    Turks are also open to Safe Zone offers in Turkish/Syrian border area. For them the depth of the proposed zone is an important point of reference to move forward. 20 mile/32 km might be enough.

    A 27yo woman just set herself on fire at on the Syrian-Jordanian borders because she and her 3 kids haven't eaten for days. She and her 1 months old baby are in a bad condition and were admitted to a hospital in Jordan. Her name is Sundus Fathallah.
