i only finded hitachi clear smart script from spildit

Also why don't you search the HDD Oracle ?

There are a huge amount of VSC there on the research section for each drive brand .....

Also there is even Format Unit for Hitachi, etc .... for free ....

For example to read CP on the majority of Toshiba SATA :

- Send the Super ON.
- Send the "data transference" ON (dxFR).
- Send the READ CP VSC in LBA 48 format. Should include the CP in HEX and size,the same command to read CPs on IDE drives and on the command register a "typical" vendor specific value for Toshiba SATA.
- Send the command to retrieve the data containing the sector size. This is for SATA only. On IDE you only need to send the VSC to read CP and the drive will go to DRQ. On SATA you need to send a "special" command to place the data intro the buffer so the drive goes intro DRQ state for you to fetch the data.

Optional :

- Send the data transference off and the super off. As alternative re-power the drive.

For Toshiba you have a VSC that will CLEAR and re-initialize some data stored on the platters, meaning you can clear and re-generate on the platter some sectors / info. This can be used for example to clear S.M.A.R.T., G-List, etc ....

The VSC is the same for the majority of operations (with exception of clear G-List and Pending list).

There is a VSC to clear the ATA password.

That same command on the feature register in LBA 48 format will have ??,xx . ?? is a fixed value that i will not tell you and is the same for IDE drives to clear stuff but on the command register instead of feature. xx is a variable. If you replace xx with 01 it will clear password. 04 for example will clear S.M.A.R.T. and so on .... There are some variable values that you can use to clear/re-initialize the correspondent sectors on platter that in turn will make you a happy guy !
