HOW DO I JOURNAL

I wanted something slightly more interesting than me grumbling about cleaning the site up two years ago on front page.

But. Uh. I got nothing.

So how about a life update instead.

I got a new job, extending my commute from an hour each way on public transit to 90 minutes each way in a shitty old beater car. (Which you may remember from parkinglotgate.)

Took up casual drinking. There is no one cause for this. It was a combination of many things. On the upshot, cons are a lot more fun now.

Got out of the horrible apartment I was in and moved closer to work. (20 minute drive instead of 90.) I stayed with my cousin for a few months while I was looking for a place.

Got rid of my shitty old beater car and my shitty old beater truck and replaced them with something much nicer. (A Subaru. Sorry Mazda, you broke my heart by not having a light SUV with AWD and a manual transmission to sell me.)

Like I said. Nothing interesting to see here. Move along...
