| | | As I write this, Democrats are staging a sit-in, demanding a gun control vote. Paul Ryan pulled the plug on the C-Span feed; that to me is illegal censorship done totally out of spite. No worries; Democrats are using Periscope to get their point across.
Hypocrisy being exposed live and direct. Would anyone be surprised if Ryan pulls an even more pathetic move by calling the Sergeant-At-Arms and arrest Democrats one by one?
This is fact: Republicans are joined at the hip with the NRA and the Koch brothers. With each PREVENTABLE massacre, that's more money for the fat cats.
We need more people like Senator Chris Murphy, too. With his 15-hour filibuster, even though 4 votes failed to pass he succeeded in seeing the wall of ignorance slowly crumbling.

| | | Finally watched it for the first time tonight. Best film I've ever seen! I'm a die-hard fan of traditional 2D animation, but as far as I'm concerned this film elevates the possibilities of computer animation to the outermost galaxy! The herculean attention to detail, design and storytelling of Zootopia knocks down a multitude of invisible barriers, and is a calling card of what's to come. I may teeter between atheist and agnostic, but FUCK ME this film was kissed by the heavens!
And I'm man (wolf?) enough to admit "Try Everything" left me crying happy tears. Very few songs make me well up, but Shakira did it. So yes, I'm no longer a Zootopia virgin. I have gladly joined the ranks of both predator and prey, and I'm all the better for it. | | |
