A few follow-ups for the completists among you. -The Manafort team refiled its document to fix the redactions. -The court has ordered the govt to file the "factual and evidentiary basis" of the five breaches it alleges next Monday 1/14; Manafort will have until 1/18 to reply
Outside of the redactions, there are some other interesting revelations in Manafort's document: He met with Mueller's team 12x, testified before a grand jury 2x, and Mueller's team indicated outside court they have no plans for new charges against him for lying. How can this NOT be in purpose? Seriously, how on earth can an attorney on such a high profile case, not know how to properly redact a document. For the love of Christmas, how are these people criminal masterminds? It is a goddamned travelling circus!

Suggestion to @PaulManafort and his inept counsel: take @Prevagen. It almost rhymes with #Prevezon. That should be easy to remember. Just like #rinat. Manafort knew his interlocutors in the meeting with @DonaldJTrumpJr. He knew all about it.
I can offer my services as a redaction integrity consultant to all these IT challenged lawyers. Is there no 'really redacted' tool in Acrobat?
I used the redacted tool in Acrobat for the first time last week, and it works perfectly. Just tested it and I can't copy and paste text from the redacted part. They must have used like free PDF editing software, or didn't hit apply, or something.

All the redactions are visible. I just copied the black redacted parts and pasted them into Notes on my iPad and read them all.
That’s crazy. The courts need to get on board digitally so this doesn’t happen.
So, Manafort is not denying anything but that he lied.
The redactions I’ve downloaded so far appear to be exculpatory in nature - positive for Manafort - might his lawyers purposely created this odd copy/paste access ?!
