It can surely be a meteor because Iron meteorites are mainly comprised of iron and nickel, which coexist in the form of an alloy.

There are also stony meteorites and stony-iron meteorites, both of which contain alloys of iron and nickel to some extent.

On the earth’s surface, most of the craters are formed due to the pressures of the huge meteors.

I'm pretty sure that it's actually a meteorite because it was found on Earth's surface.
