While the words "Steem" and "Steemit" are often used synonymously, they actually mean two different things: Steem is the blockchain and home to various dApps/UIs among which steemit.com is the oldest and - despite declining popularity - still the most popular. Steemit itself could - theoretically - decide to censor you, but your content would still be on the Steem blockchain forever and accessible through various other dApps such as @steempeak or @busy.org.
Steem is suffering from reputation problems since most people still associate Steem only with Steemit. Could you help the Steem community to change this by referring to your presence as "on the Steem blockchain" instead of "on Steemit"? That would be a huge help, thanks!
Btw, have you considered accepting payments in Steem additionally to Bitcoin? This would make it easier for Steemians to send you money! And contrary to Bitcoin Steem has free and ultra-fast 3 second transactions, although there is no direct privacy-coin trading pair yet.

Interesting, I just heard about you folks through one of the YouTube’rs I follow regularly and your 9/11 threatened release of documents. I hope they don’t pay you so you release them! (No offense intended of course, those documents need to come out) While it’s not a whole lot, you can thankfully make money here on Steemit / Busy.
If you use a computer to access the site Steemplus has a great plugin for chrome that helps navigate and understand the platform. If you’re using mobile lots of people like Partiko.
If you post information releases and things of that nature, the post tag you should use is informationwar we have an excellent collection of posts with that tag that’s monitored by several people and will help get the word out to a lot of people interested in your work.
Through the STEEM blockchain you'll be able to generate some revenue. Will this be included and taken into account for the different Checkpoints of document release? Or will you only consider the BTC received on you address. If this account gets popular the revenue could be non-negligible.
