I completely agree with you. I just left a comment on their latest post along the same lines as you but less tactful. Too many distractions away from what really matters in my opinion. Q-anon and now this crap. When I read about the celebrity photos it just cemented my position.

The fact that you are asking for money to release information that you obtained for free (essentially) and you yourself say could bring down the system/governments is a problem for me. If I had information that could potentially bring down the British government I wouldn't be sitting on it and I wouldn't be advertising the fact I have the information all over the internet or asking to be paid in traceable Bitcoin to release it.
I would find a way of releasing the information to the public without revealing my identify and running the risk of being targeted by the powerful people who might suffer as a result of the information (I believe that Aaron Schwartz who I mention later was working on a system to achieve this before he 'died'). Seth Rich for example, tried releasing information anonymously but once he was named he ended up dead. The fact that your group even exists and has been able to act in the way you have makes me wonder whether this is another limited hangout. I've said it before and I'll say it again, real whistleblowers and people with integrity and who genuinely care about making the world a better place don't ask for money or sell pictures of naked celebrities, they quietly and without fanfare do what they have to do even though they risk their personal safety.
