Oh. I thought this was the battle for Azzathoth.

Its an mmo. The mechanics of the game cant allow either faction to actually win. Thus why this story line is a waste.

We'll waste time and resources beating on eachother till azshara and nzgoth show up to kill us in our weakend states.

The be forced to unite to deal with larger threat. After we beat them sylvie will pull a garrosh/arthas and try to kill everyone. Wich will lead the horde to rebell and well kill sylvie. A shaky peace will be reinstated as khadgar will have figured out how to heal azeroth at the cost of our necklaces.

Then comes the void lord expac.

At least thats my thoughts given what has occurred so far. No i do not believe blizzard saying sylvie wont become garry 2.0 the story thus far only can go in this direction.
