    Lets see whether SAA has taken over manbij or only its outskirts (frontline against rebels) if so then Turkey will still want to attack, but they wont do that without Russias permission

    As expected, Russia wants the areas from which US withdraws to come under control of the Assad regime. The problem is that YPG only wants SAA as guards against Turkey but will not hand over Manbij to the regime, maybe after further negotiation they will.

    As FSA and Turkey make statements every single day for the past weeks about being ready and the offensive almost starting, regime forces have made a deal with the YPG to enter some towns around manbij to block Turkey and FSA. Unless YPG hand over everything attack will happen.
