    Let me help: is the guy who had the balls to visit Iraq and Syria many times, to meet your troops, speak to your allies, forge alliances against IS... so you didn’t have to.

    Brett McGurk, who I do not know, was appointed by President Obama in 2015. Was supposed to leave in February but he just resigned prior to leaving. Grandstander? The Fake News is making such a big deal about this nothing event!

    2 years since website of national broadcaster blocked in Turkey for choosing to broadcast (as was its right) the moment the Russian ambassador here was killed (footage filmed by Turkish TV). A respected broadcaster blocked, while Yeni Akit is accessible.

    Thanks Mr Acar. You'll understand that international media choose to quote a UN report and another by the Pentago over your own personal estimates (which,if reliable, I'd be happy to use). And I'm sure the nice guys could show you how to edit articles if they're false!

    Mr Lowen, estimates of the combat forces are far lower than but I know you can not use them as they won’t support your argument. I’m a big fan of wikipedia and I’m sure it will be reactivated soon once it is fully compliant w/ the rules&regulations of my country.

    You're sadly mistaken, Mr Consul General. A recent UN report, which I'm sure you've read, is just one of the sources estimating 20-30,000. You'll find it here . Perhaps you were checking Wikipedia 2014 - I can't here, as it's still blocked in your country.

    I think you mis-googled it. That was the estimate back in 2014.
