To those thinking PKK is pro-Kurdistan : remember that they refuse rojava peshmerga deployment. They are more happy with baathist Assad.

What’s breaking here ? Long term partnership between Assad and PKK, and the US was basically helping and Assad ally, on purpose.

The Taliban controls 13% of Afghanistan’s districts & contests another 49%, conducts suicide attacks & kills ANSDF at high rates. US is desperate to withdrawal & is trying to cut a deal with monsters. And has time to laugh at a video. Who is the international joke again?

    - & others find the video funny. Fair enough. 1) you are not intended audience, videos are effective for recruitment. 2) these trainees are effective at killing 3) Taliban is training in Afghanistan or Pakistan & has been unable to stop it. The joke is on you.

It would be fair to invite Iran to join the league too. They've sacrificed more than anyone else for the cause of counter-revolution in the Arab world

UAE & KSA got involved in Syrian war to counter Qatar more than Iran, i.e. to foil an ideological (revolutionary) threat more than a geopolitical one. Geopolitical aspect was overhyped.

Level of geopolitical understanding : very low. Erdogan is shaking those hands to get something in Syria (Idlib protection and Afrin, where he bombed Assad forces and Iranian ones). Ennemies but negotiating. UAE, with this move, is no longer an Assad opponent.

Between this and Tunisia, Bahrain and Sudan, there's no more doubt about it. Assad will not only stop being isolated. He will be rewarded for everything he's done. If you don't understand the significance of this on regional and global politics, I don't know what to tell you.
