So, I know Turkey has a long history of invading since they invaded and occupied my family's homeland in Europe, but asking for a fren to help me understand why they want to fck Syria? Golan Heights with Israel and Genie Energy? Oil pipeline? Alien tech?
-
There's a terrorist organization PKK in Turkey. We suffered a lot bc of them. Now, their offshoot in Syria, same leader but a different name "YPG", got stronger with US support and became a threat for us and other countries in the region. We'll stop this and stabilize the region.
-
Kurds haven’t suffered from Turkish oppression have they?
-
Of course, they have. And it's really cruel and I am sorry about it. Western media shows us Turks and Kurds like two separate group of people living in isolated places. But this is not the case. As a Turk, I have many Kurdish friends, neighbors, co-workers... It's not just me ->

This can't have been an easy decision, and obviously circumstances aren't ideal, but its good to see cooperation and commonality of interests between Rojava and the Syrian Government. Hopefully that spirit can be fostered and extended in the days, months and years to come.
#Syria -
Exactly man. Government and ypg are the only two sides which can re-establish peace in syria. Enemy number one are the "rebels"

Guys this is great and extremely professional of you. No need for more bloodshed, YPG and syria have common enemy and that is the Turks.

What is the reason YPG is still active as a militia? Give all to SAA and the war can end and you people can be safe, right?
-
Minority rights, need to revise the Syrian constitution to account for minority rights, including official Kurdish/Assyrian institutions, and limited regional autonomy in Kurdish dominated zones.

Should have done that a long time ago. You should have known what was going to happen when you make deals with the US. I'm surprised you guys haven't asked for Israel to help
