    Often when I debunk the "Kurds & Turks have equal rights" myth, I get the claim "we cannot give every small minority these rights". So I've made a quick map to show the countries in the region with lower population than Kurds in Turkey alone.

    Equal rights? Does article 42 of TR constitution allow kurds have primary education in their mother tongue? Can kurds speak kurdish in parliament & court? Does it have official status? There r more kurds in TR than the population of most countries to Turkey's west.

    It must be said that many of these countries have EVEN SMALLER minority groups themselves, which enjoy rights that Kurds in Turkey can only dream of.

    After a century of systematic brainwashing, it's not impressive that there exists brainwashed kurds. The fact that there are still millions that hate the oppressive Turkish state after a CENTURY of brainwashing, tells something more significant how Kurds feel abt Turkey. 2/2

    Turks often point to pro-state kurds or kurds that are in the military. I've seen several interviews with/stories abt Yezidi boys kidnapped & brainwashed by ISIS. After very few years, many of the boys believe Yezidis are infidels & must die. 1/2

    Is this supposed to be a joke? So many countries and international organisations are constantly talking about Palestine, yet this guy is calling hypocrisy the ONE time kurds are mentioned. I'll happily swap the support kurds have with the one Palestinians have.

    Those who justify the presence of US troops in Syria in the name of defending the Kurds there, do they also want-or have they ever called for-foreign military intervention in Palestine to protect the Palestinian population from decades-long Israeli occupation and brutalization?

    The person that wrote this headline/tweet is so grossly incompetent that it would almost better if it was paid propaganda.

    Turkey sent more troops and tanks to the Syrian border as it prepares to take over the fight against Islamic State from the U.S.

    I've had this discussion so many times with different kurds when they were ecstatic about Trump. Trump is an unpredictable fool and Turkey has so much more to offer him than the Kurds have. I was hoping the Pentagon would've been able to keep him out of anything related to Syria.

    Once you surrender to ur oppressor, or ur ppl's oppressor, or any dictators & authoritarians' racist policies, you'll be treated as a puppet forever. All Kurds must always remember the Turkish genocidal policies against Kurds be4 dealing w/ it. Not easy but history is unmerciful.

    extended international flight ban on Sulaimani Airport, it wants further crack down of any pro & PKK actives in the PUK controlled area. Although recently decided the crackdown, which's implemented by the Asayish, seems Turkey not convinced.
