    In Turkey’s Parliament, the opposition tries to place on the agenda the persecution of 1M Uyghurs in China. Motion is defeated through AKP votes. AKP speaks of Islamic solidarity at every turn. But it looks the other way whenever taking a stand would have consequences.

  13. According to this Iraqi Kurdish website, Barzani-backed Roj Peshmarga is going to be part of Turkish plan to invade N Syria and end SDF rule. Roj Pesh will be sent to the Iraqi-Syrian border while TR army & FSA attack from the TR-Syria border in the north:

    In a statement, Iraqi PM Adel Abdul Mahdi’s office says US informed them about Trump’s plans and it was supposed to include a formal reception btw the leaders but a “divergence of views” over the meeting lead it to be downgraded to a phone call.
