    It was hard to change the Syrian policy of US after investing so much on terrorists but with a Turkish-American coordination, everything can change. Not only in bilateral relations, but also in the dynamics of Syria when NATO states cooperate

    I just had a long and productive call with President of Turkey. We discussed ISIS, our mutual involvement in Syria, & the slow & highly coordinated pullout of U.S. troops from the area. After many years they are coming home. We also discussed heavily expanded Trade.

    This is an absolute important experiment. For example, ISIS was only using men as suicide bombers, but YPG/PKK is using more woman suicide bombers than men since over 30 years!

    Actually the new anti ISIS attempt by President Trump to coordinate with Turkey instead of a terrorist organisation is what should have been done since the very beginning.

    ....going to be there for three months, and that was seven years ago - we never left. When I became President, ISIS was going wild. Now ISIS is largely defeated and other local countries, including Turkey, should be able to easily take care of whatever remains. We’re coming home!

    Good that he resigns. Another incompetent advocate of a desastrous policy will leave, and maybe some will learn not to work with terrorists. His work in Syria is a ticking bomb, but hopefully it is not too late to save ME from another US-made desaster.
