A coalition between Damascus and the SDF backed by Russia, France, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE will mark the end for Turkey's influence, not only in Syria, but in the entire region. It's time to put our minor differences on hold as for now.

A very interesting Turkish propaganda map, note how they are careful to besiege Alawite and Kurdish areas just like what criminal Ottomans did for hundreds of years.

the SDF really need to take these movements into account when they are making their next decision. The withdraw decision is not as naive as the media is promoting, there is much more into it. Apparently the backing from Saudi Arabia and UAE can't be taken into account anymore.

The visit confirm that al-Basir's visit was a message from Saudi Arabia. It also confirm that the Kingdom and the UAE want to partner up with Damascus. This may explain Trump's recent decision as both countries are key financiers of the coalition in Syria.

Damascus decision as for now will remain against recognizing the self-administration in the SDF-held area. For Damascus there is no reason to work with the YPG-led authorities in the Arab majority areas like Manbij, Raqqa and eastern Deir Ezzor.

Kurds been partner to the U.S. since 1990, they never got anything out of it, and they will never do. Washington don't give a single f about the minorities in the Middle East and will never do, because we are poor.
