[Question] To save SHSH blobs for a version of iOS you're not on do you have to update and then save?
Currently on 12.1 beta 2 because I missed the signing window for 12.1. I saved my beta 2 blobs and I figured I might as well save the 12.1.2 blobs just incase but can't find a guide on google.
I use http://tsssaver.1conan.com to save blobs. You put in your info, and it sends a request for all signed firmwares.
You do not need to be on the version to save blobs, blobs are just a small file from Apple’s servers that use some of your device’s info and their encryption key to verify a restore.

Just install the TSSSaver app via Cydia.

I'm on iOS 12.1 beta 2 and can't install cydia since I'm not jailbroken. I used blobsaver to save the beta 2 blobs. Can I save the 12.1.2 blobs without updating?
Use the telegram app on the App Store and telegram jailbreak bot, just google it.
It will let you save your blobs easily and tell you if they are valid still.
Will it only generate the SHSH blob for the firmware I'm currently on or will it also generate the blob for 12.1.2 as well?
It will allow you to save any blobs for versions that are currently being signed. You do not have to be on the firmware to save blobs for that version.
How can I use the telegram jailbreak bot to see if my blobs are valid, also does this work for beta blobs (saved from blobsaver)
I don’t think this works for beta blobs, but you can click the verify link right under your blob file in the app.
