    Heard within the last hour at least 50 DEZMC fighters went MIA after word reached them of Trump's decision. Feared defections to ISIS. Source supports CJTFOIR efforts in DEZ. Trust the source, and this seems to show how Trump's decision is already fraying C-ISIS effort on ground.

    And despite what Pres is claiming, once taken over, is the foot in the door for Al-Boukhater, Al-Bouhassan, Baghuz and Al-Soussah, a heavily built up town of about 14Sq Kms. Previous Coalition estimates to end IS in that pocket were Spring/Summer 2019.

    On Monday, IS felt confident enough to launch a counterattack, taking over the entire Qalaa district as surprised SDF troops withdrew. IS fighters reached as far as the school district before being beaten back to Qalaa where clashes are ongoing.

    According to natives, there are over 25K civs remaining in the pocket, among them up to 8,000 fighters. , however, was never fully taken despite boasting otherwise. They had failed to dislodge IS fighters taking refuge near the river.
