Oh! Hello there. Sorry, been gone for some time. It's given me some time to think on a few things.

I was permanently banned! I thought?

So if you didn't know a couple months ago I was banned from FA, and this time, I thought it was permanent. Certainly was phrased that way based on the message I received trying to log in. I've been suspended in the past but this was an actual "Ban".

But yes, I was banned because: you guessed it, another "Young Character" flag. What was it this time? What did I post that could possibly cause issue? Well, the issue wasn't what I posted recently. It was an ad posted over 2 years ago that I forgot to remove over on the swallowtail account (I think I removed it from here? But I can't remember). It was for the CVD volume 2 and featured 2 very small cropped images of Asriel in both his Younger and Older bodies, and it included a cropped image of Spike from My Little Ponies (who honestly, especially at the time of drawing the character, I had no idea was cub. I didn't know the show, just thought he was a spyro esque character. Smol dragon).

Anyways, ya. 2 years ago post because of a small crop from an secondary account.

I ain't going to go into the niddy gritty here on the issue I have with this flag. Again, I think FA's entire way they handle suspension and banning is flawed and if you want a discussion about it go to this journal here:

But what I will talk about is the follow up I got from FA appeals.

They finally emailed me back after about a week then half a month's wait time after I appealed to them the issue I had with this ban. That it was unfair to ban me for something that I missed in my last purge because I have 100s of submissions, it was on an alt account, and the offending material is barely a 1/4th of the image involved. Needless to say it was easy to miss and I had no intention of trying to hide it there (I had other ad pages for the CVD, I could really care less if they wanted me to remove 1 of them). In anycase, it was obvious I wasn't actively trying to subvert or break TOS.

They seemed to agree. They didn't outright say they agreed. Just that they were willing to give me another chance.
So I got in talks with them (The emailing back and forth sometimes took a week between emails). The long and short of the discussion was me explaining how I'd be happy to audit my gallery but I honestly don't know what's considered against TOS and having FA appeals basically ignore most of what I was saying.

So, long story short, the emails themselves explain the issue I have with this whole thing and the journal I linked goes further into the topic. So I'm not going to further explain things here.

Just know I'm back (at least temporarily) and wanted to inform you all that don't get around much beyond FA what's going on.

Where am I going from here?

Well, needless to say I'll be trying my best to audit any images that could be considered cub... because they didn't answer me on the whole 3-4 headsize body ratio issue I'll only be deleting what I can possibly think could be mistaken as cub.... and apparently Wacko warner images cus that's a thing? *sighs* this whole thing really gives me a headache.

And after that, well... I'm still up in the air on really keeping a gallery here. I'm not going to delete my gallery but and I'll still use it to reach out for letting you guys know things like commissions status and other things but...

Honestly I think I'm done posting art here.

It's time to move on.

It sucks, because most of the vore fandom and in general, furry fandom seem to be here.

But FA is too restrictive.

FA is too badly managed and uncaring with their appeals.

and Ultimately, FA is way too far behind on the times when it comes to their UI and web design.

So, while I haven't 100% confirmed it with myself, I'm basically thinking I'm done posting art here and will endorse other galleries.

Where you might ask? Plenty of places! Because now, with the help of PostyBirb ( http://www.postybirb.com/ ) I plan to keep many galleries up to date!

Oh and most of my old artwork is being moved from FA to other galleries, a long process so be patient x3

So you're leaving FA?

No, not entirely. I'd still like to keep my galleries here and Swallowtail's account because it still is the most viewed furry website. But, I'm basically not going to use it as a main gallery any longer and I'm going to branch out to other places.

What Now?

Well, things are getting exciting actually! I'll be opening commissions very soon (hopefully in the next week), there will be discounts for vanilla adult content and SFW content! (though don't worry I'll still accept more weird and raunchy fetish work~) and I'll working on a comic project I've been drafting for well over a year now. (spoilers, it's involved in the final feast universe :3 )

NEW CVD IS IN THE WORKS!!

Yup, CVD Volume 3 will be "cumming" next year sometime. Featuring a surprise special guest artist~ (though some may already know who).

Honorable mentions in the "Fantasy is Nonharmful" discussion

Spotted Squeaks (or Forest, Fomo, however you know the artist) recently (a month ago D: sadly I missed it) wrote up an article on Fatal vore and his thoughts on the whole fantasy vs reality discussion. I highly advice reading it as it's well thought out and written, and I think holds a very true note not just for vore, but all extreme fetishes and fantasy art in general:

Long story short, fantasy is just fantasy. We're all consenting adults wanting to do weird ass things in with our fetishes. Let us be to enjoy them and try not to assume that it informs who we are in real life.

This is utterly ridiculous; surely what should happen is if anything is discovered in a person's gallery that's been posted up for a certain amount of time, ie 2 years +, should just be removed by an
admin with the page owner being informed and asked to do a double check through their gallery rather than an outright ban for something historical.

Also, like you said, you have hundreds of submissions. You'd get image blindness from looking at your old work. Heck, happens to me with numbers or if I'm editing stories. I know what is supposed to
be there so I glaze over the mistakes. Called being human, something the admins appear to not accept.

It's sad that you're not going to be posting here anymore. Tbh so many artists post to so many different places it's now impossible for me to keep track anymore. I don't have time to check 6 different
sites for different artists. That's not a dig at you kind Sir, I understand why you're doing what you're doing. It's just annoying the admins here are so militant in upholding the rules. Makes me
wonder if they are trying to get rid of the little people so that the big name artists can generate more revenue for IMVU.

Context doesn't really matter it seems. Rather just nip it in the bud. Though I'm surprised I got unbanned honestly. Maybe there's someone(s) on the FA team who's on my side, at least in spirit.

But ya, it can be hard to keep track of all the different places and artists. That's the small value FA has left I think. IT's just a place A LOT of people are, even if it's not the most ideal.

This is why I just removed everything. I heard people were being banned for 10+ year old submissions, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I've always felt like e621 had a much better cataloging system anyways. The whole "tag everything" system makes it infinitely easier to find what you want and filter what you don't.

One way to be on the safe side, I'd say. Purge the gallery and start fresh.
Know that must sound horrible knowing its hundreds of submissions and years of work. But just post a winrar file or dropbox with the gallery, maybe even sell it as a content pack with all pictures in
HD. I'm sure some would be down for it.

Because it seems most of your recent strikes have been people going back and targeting older works. And it feels like with it they'll just find more and more.
Sucks to say it too, but in order to stay safe on FA you really just gotta kiss admin ass and not really pick on them. Though I think its beyond repair for something like that, as I think most
admins/mods probably consider you a wildcard, heck I'd dare even dare say some of them eagerly want you gone. Best thing to do would be to not give them a reason.

Honestly if they feel they don't want me here or want to ban me for actually then I don't really care. I already came to terms I wouldn't be able to use FA again and I think it's time to move on.

Besides, the issue isn't necessarily older works, I could post something, anything with a 3-4 head body ratio and it'll be in question. One day I'll post Finnick stuff and they'll decide "nope, that's
cub now". So removing my gallery honestly doesn't fix the issue and I really don't wanna go through with all that work. I'm saving what I can from my really old stuff cus that's long gone but I have
the files for the other stuff and whatever happens here happens here.

Besides all that I'm pretty much decided I'm not posting any new art here anyhow unless it's advertisement or what have you. That's all I see FA good for now. Everything FA does other places can do it
better. The only thing FA has is it's "stable" and lots of people use it. It was here first (and back when it first started it was great! ) but if everyone moved to weasyl, inkbunny, furrynetwork,
etc. Any other site really, FA would just be forced to either slowly die out or actually update and change.

I won't look to actively try and break their TOS or cause trouble, but they do what they do. I can guarantee there's probably some on their team that doesn't like me. I'm convinced the FA appeals
handler does not give two shits as they never responded to my questions in detail (or a timely manner), rather mostly ignoring them. Or I made a damn good point and they couldn't really respond to it,
but eh.

Point is, I'm not going to try and subvert FA, but if they feel I did something out of line, that's their prerogative. I ain't going to agree but I'm also not going to care if they wish to ban me
again.

;w; I can relate on a few notes to your plight. Plenty of my Riolu and Eevee friends have gotten temp banned from their commissions and art. My old account is long gone and I don't want to even
attempt to recover it xT.

As said as last time ehh Roco... Always getting yourself into to trouble and not even trying..

I'll still buy your comics and support ya <3 friendly fellas like you don't deserve to be on edge all the time about your livelyhood.

Tbh you're the only vore artist I know of that draws the characters you do. I watch you on inkbunny at least but it annoys me that out of all the artists I watch it seems that fa has only problems
with you in particular. It's not fair to you.

All of the points you raised regarding "how do I tell if this is cub or not" is the biggest concern I had over the cub ban from the start. There is too much of a fucking grey area and nobody is keen
on clarifying anything. It's just how does the current reviewer of the content feel at the time? Because yeah, that Wakko Warner thing caught me off guard too. I mean, Wat? I realize in retrospect
I've never even questioned those character's age, but I've never heard anything to suggest they were underaged. XP They've always seemed too intelligent and risque to be considered anything other than
adults. That animal crossing thing you mentioned throws me for a loop too. Every character in that series is functionally an adult.... well, okay, almost all... but certainly Isabella and most others
people draw stuff of. XP Geebus.

I was worried, because people told me that you were ban because somebody didn't like your art and started a massive witch hunt on you using social media to mass report you for no reason or some
ridiculous shit like that. I have that great fear for myself that one day somebody just doesn't like my art and can just report me for no reason and I lose everything.

Yeash, sorry to hear that.
It's always sad to hear that there are people out there who have nothing better to do with their time than look for obscure things to complain about.
It also sounds like a ridiculous overreaction by the admins. They should have just deleted the submission (even if the reason was stupid) and informed you why the submission was deleted. Bans should
be saved for flagrant and intentional disregard of the rules.

On a random note, I have funny timing. I honestly didn't even know you were banned. It wasn't until yesterday that I found an old work of yours that I liked, and thought "I wonder if they are taking
commissions, I should check."
