  17. Looks like a compromise has been worked out at UNSC on resolution. Humanitarian language compressed, IHL references removed, no direct mention of Iran. If it passes with an endorsement of Stockholm and a mandate for the UN to implement then that is enough.

    The timing of General Mattis resignation is definitely related to decision to withdraw from Syria and Afganistan! Yet The President didn’t have the intention to keep Mattis for long anyway! Their relations deteriorated slowly but surely because of different STYLE
