165 Content crawled via the <a href="http://archive.org/web/web.php">Wayback Machine</a> Live Proxy mostly by the Save Page Now feature on web.archive.org.
166<br /><br />
167Liveweb proxy is a component of Internet Archive’s wayback machine project. The liveweb proxy captures the content of a web page in real time, archives it into a ARC or WARC file and returns the ARC/WARC record back to the wayback machine to process. The recorded ARC/WARC file becomes part of the wayback machine in due course of time.

music)\n\n- I recently went to\nmy high school reunion\n\nand it was fascinating to see\n\nwho achieved their dreams and who didn't.\n\nI spoke to one of my old classmates\n\nand he told me that he hated his life.\n\nWhen I asked him why,\n\nhe said \"This is not what I\nsaw myself doing with my life.\n\n\"I'm so damn depressed and\nI'm working a job I hate.\n\n\"I have no idea how to get out of this.\"\n\nAnd my heart broke for the guy.\n\nBut I realized this is\nactually the situation\n\nthat most of us find ourselves in.\n\nThink about it.\n\nHow many people actually end up\n\npursuing their passion in life?\n\nNot many.\n\nMost people end up settling.\n\nI mean, it's the situation\nthat I found myself in\n\nbefore I figured out\nthat I could use YouTube\n\nto make a living.\n\nLet's be honest,\n\nthere is absolutely\nnothing special about me.\n\nI was a guy that didn't know what the hell\n\nhe wanted to do with his life.\n\nI picked undecided as my major in college\n\nand I was just spinning my damn wheels.\n\nAnd then quite suddenly\n\neverything changed when I\ndiscovered the power of YouTube.\n\nAnd I realized that you could literally\n\nmake millions of dollars\nfollowing your passion.\n\nI went from living in the ghettos of L.A.\n\nto having an online business\n\nmaking millions of dollars a year.\n\nAnd this wasn't some complex business\n\nwith hundreds of employees\nand years of work.\n\nThis was me and my best\nfriend, two college dropouts\n\nfollowing our passion\nfor self-improvement.\n\nSo how did we do it?\n\nIt all came down to what I talked about\n\nin the YouTube video.\n\nKevin Kelly's 1,000 true fans theory.\n\nWe realized that if we\nwanted to make money\n\nwhile also following our passion,\n\nwe needed to find a\ncore following of people\n\nthat loved what we put out.\n\nAnd that's what this\nvideo is going to tackle.\n\nSo let's do a quick recap of\nthe 1,000 true fans theory.\n\nThis has been cited by some of the world's\n\nmost famous entrepreneurs\n\nand is commonly accepted\n\nas the most critical piece of advice\n\nfor anyone looking to\nstart their own business.\n\nAnd this is what it is,\n\nif you want to make a living as a creator\n\nyou need to find 1,000 people\n\nwho would be interested in\nbuying what you produce.\n\nBefore the internet came along\n\nthis was actually very difficult to do.\n\nHowever, now it's very achievable\n\nas long as you take the right steps.\n\nI'm gonna quote Kevin Kelly\nsince his description fits best.\n\nAnd this is where all\nthe information stops.\n\nGreat, you know that\nyou need 1,000 true fans\n\nbut how the hell do you get them?\n\nAnd also, what type of thing\n\nare you going to create in the first place\n\nto get those fans?\n\nThese are the toughest questions\n\nyet no one ever gives you a\nframework to figure it out\n\nuntil right now.\n\nThat's what we're gonna\nshow you in these videos.\n\nYou're going to use YouTube.\n\nAnd as of right now, it\nis literally the best way\n\nto acquire your 1,000 plus true fans.\n\nBeing a YouTuber is pretty damn exciting.\n\nYou log into your account,\n\nthe latest video got 500,000\nviews in under 72 hours.\n\nNot bad, you think.\n\nThat's $500 in ad revenue and oh yeah,\n\n$20,000 from the brand\nthat sponsored the video.\n\nAll for just a couple\nof days worth of work\n\nworking on something you\nactually cared about.\n\nAnd a side note, right now\nyou're probably thinking\n\nthere's no way you get paid that much\n\nfor a brand deal.\n\nWell, YouTube creators\nare getting paid that much\n\nand much more for 30 second\nmentions at the end of a video.\n\nSo here's the best part,\n\nyou make all this money\njust by creating videos\n\nabout your favorite hobby or passion.\n\nWhether that's cars, video\ngames, beauty, social skills,\n\nself-improvement, health\nand fitness, whatever!\n\nAnything that you're interested\nin or passionate about\n\ncan be turned into a YouTube channel.\n\nCan you imagine how great it would feel\n\nto have an audience of raving fans\n\nthat love to watch your videos?\n\nCan you imagine how great it would feel\n\nto make a career and a living\nout of your biggest passion?\n\nHow it would feel to never have to work\n\na traditional job for\nthe rest of your life?\n\nThat is what's in store for\nyou if you pay attention.\n\nSo take notes and follow\nthese instructions\n\nthroughout this entire video training.\n\nI'm not exaggerating when I say\n\nthat the four videos\nin this training series\n\ncould be the most important\nthing you ever watch.\n\nThey have the power to completely change\n\nthe course of your life.\n\nThey have the power to free you\n\nfrom being another person\n\nwith a soul-crushing 9 to 5 office job\n\nor another college\nstudent entering a career\n\nthat you absolutely despise.\n\nSo take advantage while\nthey're still available.\n\nWe'll be taking all these videos down\n\nin just a few days\n\nbecause we don't wanna make this available\n\nfor people who procrastinate.\n\nGot it? Good.\n\nI'm Jesse and over the past five years\n\nmy business partner, Kong and I\n\nhave started over half a dozen\nsuccessful YouTube channels.\n\nYou might know our faces from\nthe Simple Pickup Channel.\n\nHowever, we're also the creators\n\nof many many other\nsuccessful YouTube channels.\n\nAnd those channels have driven\nover half a billion views.\n\nYes, over 500 million views for free.\n\nYes, over 500 million views for free.\n\nAnd we've been featured\n\nin some of the world's\nbiggest publications.\n\nNow why should you care?\n\nBecause those views have\nenabled us to launch\n\nwhat are now multimillion\ndollar online businesses.\n\nWe've been able to create\n\nwell over 1,000 true fans\nfrom multiple online niches.\n\nYouTube has enabled us to go\n\nfrom living in the ghetto of L.A.\n\nto having a startup with 19\nemployees and four offices\n\nin the heart of Hollywood.\n\nOur success on YouTube\nallows us to live the life\n\nthat we always dreamed about,\n\nto travel when we want,\n\nto work on projects that\nwe're passionate about,\n\nto take off as much\nvacation time as we want.\n\nAnd now I'm gonna teach you\nhow to do the exact same thing.\n\nHere's what you're about to learn,\n\nfirst I'm gonna show you\nexactly what it takes\n\nto be successful on YouTube.\n\nWe've developed a step-by-step system\n\nfor building profitable channels.\n\nAnd I'm gonna give you the overview.\n\nAnd second, I'm gonna\nteach you our formula\n\nfor coming up with\npassion-based channel ideas\n\nthat have a high chance\nof being successful.\n\nBy the end of this video\n\nyou're gonna know exactly\n\nwhat kind of YouTube\nchannel you should start.\n\nNow before we get into it\n\nI have a feeling right\nnow you're thinking,\n\n\"Jesse, that sounds great and all.\n\n\"But there's no way a\nperson like me could do it.\n\n\"Doesn't it just come down\nto getting lucky a few times\n\n\"and going viral?\"\n\nNo, of course not.\n\nIf that was true\n\nhow were we able to repeatedly build\n\nsuccessful channels and niches\n\nthat have nothing to do with each other?\n\nIt's not like we can just\nemail the subscribers\n\nfrom our philanthropy channel and be like\n\n\"Hey, why don't you go subscribe\n\n\"to our dating advice channel?\"\n\nThey're two totally different audiences.\n\nSo instead of banking on luck,\n\nwe had to develop a system\n\nand that's exactly what\nI'm gonna teach you today.\n\nAnd one last thing, if you're thinking\n\n\"But I can't make videos.\n\n\"I don't have the equipment or the skills.\n\n\"And I'm afraid to be on a camera.\"\n\nMy response is all you need\nis a smartphone for equipment\n\nand those other things?\n\nThey're easily teachable.\n\nDo you think when Michael\nJordan stepped onto\n\nthe basketball court for the first time\n\nhe had pro-level skills?\n\nOf course not.\n\nYouTube is the same.\n\nEvery single YouTuber that has\nmillions of subscribers today\n\nstarted out a few years ago\n\nwith zero subscribers and zero views\n\nand zero fancy equipment.\n\nAnd on top of that,\n\npretty much all of them were\nonce afraid of being on camera.\n\nHow do I know that?\n\nBecause Kong and I both felt the same way.\n\nJust look at how\ncringe-worthy our videos were\n\nback on Simple Pickup when we\nwere first getting started.\n\nSo, you probably notice from our videos\n\nthat when we talk to a girl\n\nwe're very fun and sexual\n\nand when I text a girl,\n\nI try to convey that same\nfun, sexual personality.\n\nDoes that look like a million\ndollar camera presence to you?\n\nNo, of course not.\n\nCurrent day YouTubers who now\nhave millions of subscribers\n\njust fought through their fears\n\nand stuck to a process\nthat led them to success.\n\nAnd you can do the exact same thing\n\nespecially with the help of our system.\n\nNow, let's talk about the system.\n\nKeep in mind, this isn't actually a system\n\nlike a giant machine that\nspits out viral videos.\n\nYou do actually have to\nuse your brain for this.\n\nSorry but that's how you\nknow this is the real deal\n\nand not some get rich quick scheme.\n\nIf you want real results\n\nit's going to take real work.\n\nThere is no magic pill that\nwill make you a million dollars\n\nin the blink of an eye.\n\nSo here's the process our\nsystem takes you through.\n\nStep one, you have to come up\n\nwith your magical channel idea.\n\nMagical like millions of people\nare watching your content.\n\nAnd in just a minute,\n\nI'll show you how to find\nyour own magical channel idea\n\nthat's primed to go viral.\n\nThis virtually guarantees your success.\n\nStep two, you have to implement\na growth hacking strategy\n\nto build your audience.\n\nGrowth hacking is using strategies\n\nto massively and rapidly\ngrow your audience for free.\n\nAnd you're gonna do that by using\n\nour best kept viral marketing secrets.\n\nThis is gonna blow your mind.\n\nAnd that's what we're gonna\ncover in the later videos.\n\nOnce you're done implementing step two,\n\nyou'll have a killer idea,\n\nyou'll be building up your audience\n\nlikely into the hundreds of thousands\n\nand you'll be this close\n\nto making a living from your channel.\n\nAnd then we get to step three.\n\nYou have to monetize your audience.\n\nMonetize basically means make money.\n\nThere's five key ways you\ncan monetize your audience\n\nand leverage what we call\n\ninfluencer status to make\na living from your fans.\n\nThis is what we're gonna\ncover in the final video\n\nbut here's a hint.\n\nAdvertising is the least effective way\n\nto monetize an audience on YouTube.\n\nIn fact, we've been using a method\n\nthat beats advertising\nrevenue by over 500%.\n\nIf you're surprised by that,\n\nyou really gotta check\nout the rest of the videos\n\nto find out what really works on YouTube.\n\nAnd that's it.\n\nOnce you've mastered these three steps\n\nand learned our strategies for each one,\n\nyou'll know exactly how to build\n\na six or even seven figure\ncareer out of YouTube.\n\nAre you ready to start your channel?\n\nWell, you better be\n\nbecause I spent two months of my life\n\nputting together all\nthis free content for you\n\nand years learning in the first place\n\nthrough trial and error.\n\nI mean, I could have been\nwatching Game of Thrones instead.\n\nSo I expect nothing less from you\n\nthan building the next\nsuper viral channel.\n\nSo let's dive into step one.\n\nHow do you find your channel idea?\n\nWhat most people do is they just guess.\n\nThey just pull something out of thin air\n\nand try to wing it.\n\nOr they get so stuck on\ntrying to figure it out\n\nthat they eventually give up.\n\nI am not going to let that happen to you.\n\nAfter years of failing\nand succeeding on YouTube,\n\nwe've devised a shockingly simple strategy\n\nfor consistently finding\nwinning channel ideas.\n\nAnd to be honest, I can't\nbelieve we're giving this away.\n\nThis is called the channel idea scorecard.\n\nThe first thing you're going to do\n\nis make a list of your passions.\n\nYour passions are things\nthat you do for fun.\n\nThings that you'd consider your hobby.\n\nThings you like to read about\n\nwhen no one's looking over your shoulder.\n\nIt's the stuff that you wish\nyou could get paid to do.\n\nYes, even things like playing video games.\n\nIn fact, that's a very\nlucrative niche on YouTube.\n\nSo make a list of\neverything you love doing.\n\nTake five, 10, 15 minutes\n\nhowever long it takes for you\nto get a really good list.\n\nIdeally around 15 things\nyou're passionate about.\n\nAnd I swear, if you even think of saying\n\n\"I don't have a single thing\nthat I'm passionate about.\"\n\nI want you to imagine me giving you\n\na serious look of disapproval.\n\nBecause I guarantee there's\nsomething that excites you.\n\nSo write that down.\n\nNow that you have your list,\n\nyou're gonna run it through\nour three-step formula\n\nto find which idea is best suited\n\nto become a successful YouTube channel.\n\nThere's three questions to ask yourself.\n\nQuestion one, on a scale of one to five,\n\nhow big is the audience for this topic?\n\nAnd yes, you're just gonna guess here.\n\nOne is like, you and your\ngrandma like the topic.\n\nFive is like, millions\nof people are into it.\n\nFor example gaming, tennis, and\neven fitness would be a five\n\nbecause they're extremely common interests\n\nwhich means there's a\nhuge potential audience.\n\nQuestion two, on a scale of one to five,\n\nhow much do people who are\ninto this topic care about it?\n\nFor instance, there are millions of people\n\nwho like eating Pop-Tarts\n\nbut they're not exactly\npassionate about Pop-Tarts.\n\nGolfers on the other hand\nare rabid fans of the sport.\n\nOn average, they're super passionate\n\nand would do almost anything\nto improve their game.\n\nIt means they're really likely\n\nto watch video content about golfing.\n\nQuestion three, on a scale of one to five\n\nhow much would you enjoy making\ncontent about this topic?\n\nOne is like, you'd enjoy it\n\nas much as having a seven\nhour dentist appointment.\n\nFive is like, it's your\nbirthday and you won the lottery\n\nand fell in love all in the same day.\n\nNow run your entire list\nthrough this framework.\n\nAnd afterwards tally up the score.\n\nOnce you're done, you should have a number\n\nbetween three and 15 for each one.\n\nRemember, you should have at least\n\na dozen or so ideas to start with.\n\nNow draw an x through all your ideas\n\nother than the ones with\nthe three highest scores.\n\nThose are your finalists.\n\nThey should all be above 10 points or so.\n\nIf not, you may want to start over.\n\nNow, one of those finalists\n\nis going to become your channel topic.\n\nYou should think deeply and choose the one\n\nthat you could best envision yourself\n\nsticking with in the long run.\n\nAnd once you've selected your favorite,\n\nwell it's time to celebrate.\n\nBecause you may have just stumbled on\n\nyour very first million\ndollar channel idea.\n\nNow I bet you're confused\nby one thing right now.\n\nYou're thinking, \"Wait a second,\n\n\"there are thousands of people\n\n\"with YouTube channels\non this exact topic.\n\n\"Why would someone watch me\nover all the competition?\"\n\nThat is a great question.\n\nIt's true, if you just\ncopycat the competition\n\nyour channel will flop.\n\nMeaning, it will suck more than people\n\nwho wear Crocs with socks.\n\n(screaming)\n\nAnd it won't get nearly enough views\n\nfor you to make a successful career\n\nand great living out of your channel.\n\nWanna know why?\n\nBecause it's missing one key ingredient,\n\nan ingredient that will allow\nyou to make viral content\n\nthat's completely unique and fresh\n\ncompared to what's out there.\n\nAn ingredient that will solve\n\nyour competition problem completely.\n\nWe call it the remix strategy.\n\nNo one else in the planet is\nusing this strategy on YouTube.\n\nWhy? Because we created it.\n\nThe remix strategy allows\nyou to enter a niche\n\nthat's saturated with tons\nand tons of competition\n\nand still be able to go viral,\n\nbuild an audience of raving fans,\n\nand turn that channel\ninto a massive success.\n\nIt's what sets your channel up\n\nfor the maximum amount of views.\n\nAnd allows you to grow a huge audience.\n\nEven if you're just starting out.\n\nHonestly, learning this one strategy\n\ncan make or break your success on YouTube.\n\nBecause once you've got a\nsolid idea for your channel,\n\nthe next most important element\n\nis knowing how to create\nsuccessful viral videos\n\non that topic.\n\nSo are you interested in\nlearning the remix strategy?\n\nWell, you're gonna have\nto watch video two.\n\nYes, I did just leave you\nwith a massive cliffhanger.\n\nIn the next video,\n\nwe're also gonna give you\na behind the scenes look\n\ninto why certain YouTubers like us\n\nare able to turn our channels\n\ninto multimillion-dollar businesses.\n\nAnd how anyone can do it by\nleveraging one key resource.\n\nAttention.\n\nAttention is a billion dollar word.\n\nAnd watch the next video\nto find out what I mean.\n\nTrust me, this is stuff you\nwill not find anywhere else\n\nbecause no other YouTuber\nwith millions of subscribers\n\nis willing to teach this stuff.\n\nBut anyway, for now just\ncongratulate yourself\n\non getting this far in the process.\n\nYou've got your channel topic\n\nand you're so close to\nsuccessfully launching it.\n\nSo stay tuned for the next videos.\n\nAnd before you go,\n\nmake sure you post in the comments below.\n\nThis is an important part of the process.\n\nTell me why you want to be a YouTuber.\n\nDescribe the exact lifestyle\n\nthat you want to achieve\nthrough your channel.\n\nBe really specific.\n\nIt's important to visualize your goals.\n\nAnd also, mention what\nyour channel is about.\n\nIt will be fun to see\n\nwhat everyone who's\nwatching this is thinking.\n\nWe are going to read every single comment.\n\nThanks for watching and I'll\nsee you in the next video."}],"hls_enabled":true,"embed_options":{"volumeControl":"true","fullscreenButton":"true","controlsVisibleOnLoad":"false","playerColor":"6f6f6f","bpbTime":"false","vulcan":"true","videoQuality":"","playerPreference":"vulcan-v2","autoPlay":"true","endVideoBehavior":"default","branding":"false","playbar":"true","playButton":"true","settingsControl":"false","qualityControl":"false","playbackRateControl":"false","smallPlayButton":"true","spherical":"false","chaptersOn":"false","plugin":{"captions-v1":{"onByDefault":"false"}},"playsinline":true}}, {});
