Tanf is important to Jordan as a buffer and has no bearing on Turkey's issues with the YPG/SDF, as rebels there are not part of it. The countries that have taken issue with the U.S. presence at Tanf are Russia/Iran/Syria. Russia has repeatedly objected:

just heard from a U.S.-backed rebel commander at Tanf, the U.S. special forces base near the Syrian border with Jordan, that they've been told America will pull support there too. he said they are busy doing inventory.
