    My latest -- Trump’s decision on Syria came as a result of a lengthy telephone exchange he had with Turkish President Erdogan on Friday. Everything that Trump announced was decided in that call

    Today, U.S. officials have told that the U.S. will be ceasing the air campaign in entirely. Again, has not even had its whole "caliphate" destroyed yet, let alone been actually wounded in a serious way.

    Seeing the Obama set pretend they are opposed to Bashar al-Asad, Putin, and/or Clerical Iran, after they spent years building up all three adversaries and indeed denying they were necessarily adversaries, just so they can attack Trump, is one of today's less edifying spectacles.

    Called it.

    Unfortunately, Trump ordered the US to pull out of Syria "within 48 hours" a couple weeks ago. Both the Pentagon & White House are aligned in wanting to get out of Syria, and we will be out by the beginning of 2019, most likely, for better or worse.
