  僕も賛成です。沖縄は沖縄が決めるべきだ。しかし本土は沖縄に永遠の責任を負う。捨て石となり甚大な犠牲者を出した沖縄。大田少将の電報「沖縄県民斯く戦えり。県民に対し後世特別の御高配を賜らんことを。」は涙無しには読めない。摩文仁には僕の親族も眠る。忘れてはならないと思います。
