Activists from Rasalayn town report that YPG are covering the streets in the neighbouhoods close to the border with cloth amidst exodus of the residents to the countryside.

The eastern Euphrates operation is expected to start with a simultaneous three-pronged attack on Ayn Alarab (kobani), Talabyad, and Rasalayn. YPG will be driven out of the areas located to the north of the Aleppo-Hasake road.
