Today in Kurdistan: — An elected MP has been on hunger strike in prison for 35 days. — Another elected MP goes to a show trial, where the judge himself admits his own bias. — The Turkish government threatens even more invasion and ethnic cleansing. Where is the world?

Erdoğans threats of invading Rojava are a direct aid to the few thousand remaining IS fighters in Hajin. The battle is in a critical phase and any SDF unit driven away to protect the border is an advantage for IS.

We can't allow Erdogan to continue his racist policies against our Kurdish allies in the fight against ISIS. All Erdogan had done in Syria is help empower radical groups. He is not an ally worth keeping. Not if we are serious about stopping terrorism anyway.

Afrin used to be a symbol of religious liberty. Even for converts to Christianity. Now all minorities fled (Alawites, Ezidis, Christians). Turkey wants to export this model to the East of the Euphrates. Alledgledy Afrin's church is now occupied by Ahrar al Sharqiya
