Hmmm, when it comes to shipping for me, I have to find each of the characters individually interesting, and then find their dynamic with each other interesting.
Right now, I ship Takeru with Yusaku and that’s about it. That may change if he and Spectre interact more in the future; their first meeting had me thinking they could someday have a pretty intriguing dynamic. Kiku too, if she ever gets enough screen-time and characterization. I don’t really ship Ai with anyone, or any of the AIs really. I really adore Ai’s relationship with Yusaku, but I don’t really consider it shippy or romantic.
Right now, Yusaku and Takeru have a ways to go. Yusaku’s “friendships” are…really professional, I guess? There’s still a lot of emotional distance between them. I hope they have more emotional moments in the future, so they can grow closer.
