i've been off dope for almost 4 years now and i miss it too desu. if i hit the lottery or got a terminal cancer diagnosis the first call i would make would be to my old dealer. i really had more of a money problem than a drug problem. i could function completely fine on opiates and even held onto a good job for most of my addiction. it's pretty stupid that the government tells us what we can and can't put in our own bodies when 100 years ago you could buy cocaine and morphine at a pharmacy OTC.

heroin primarily comes from south america and asia. not really china though. mostly afghanistan and southeast asia. the opiate epidemic was started mostly as a result of doctors overprescribing opiate pain medications for minor things. they also had a ton of shady "pain management" clinics in places like florida where shady doctors prescribed oxycontin by the boatload to addicts who paid cash for the doctors visit. they were basically just dealers with a lab coat. pharmaceutical companies and drug reps also contributed to it by lobbying congress to lessen restrictions and gave doctors incentives to prescribe the drugs. then once there were millions of people addicted to pain medication the government started cracking down and people starting buying heroin off the street because it was cheaper and stronger. that's the gist of it.

The infomration in the rest of your post is good, but this is flat out wrong... China is producing a shit load of heroin and fentanyl, ESPECIALLY fentanyl. They don't give a fuck and will happily put fentanyl in the kilos of heroin they sell because it makes the dope stronger, which makes them have to make less and ultimately makes it cheaper for them to make.

Of course, this ends up killing people, or incapciating them for the rest of their life. You can't be too careful buying dope anymore. There's a good chance it's contaminated and you'll OD with one line and die.

i'm sure china produces heroin as well and i agree with you about fentanyl, the majority of the heroin that enters the US comes from mexico & south america though, not china. most of the fentanyl does come from china though.

also the rate of fentanyl being in dope is somewhat overstated. i used dope for over 8 years every day and never once did i get a bag laced with fentanyl or have any friends OD as a result of it. there are OD deaths in the US as a result of fentanyl but it's not extremely common and i don't think the chinese are doing it to get back at us for the opium wars or anything. most of the time it's a dealer trying to save money so they can cut their product and make it last longer and not realizing how powerful it is. they aren't trying to kill people because then they lose a customer that gives them hundreds of dollars every week.

It's lame. Netflix doesn't not get new seasons and episodes from shows even long after said episodes have already aired / been released. For example, they don't have the newest season of "Better Call Saul".

I really do like "Better Call Saul"; however, it is a bit weird to watch, for it has such different genres in one show. It shows high-level organized crime as half of the story and slightly boring lawyer-life stuff as the other half. Eh, I shouldn't be so critical. I know that in season 1 episode 1 the Italian song "Se bruciasse la città" by Massimo Ranieri plays at 21:04 to 21:46. I wonder if any TV shows or movies feature the Italian song "Shadilay" by P.E.P.E.:
