Does this way let you install it on Linux without the need to trick on Wine's settings? (Tricking on that part of Wine's settings is not safe).

If so... that is another good point for voting this trick thumb up.

Wine's enabled or not... this trick is surely a YES for me.

Still so many lovers of windows 7 and windows 8.1

Then how you see it more applicable to change your windows copy for the seek of office rather than using a tiny script to get mession accomplished !! 😏

And why should MS force users to upgrade if they don't ?!! It should be optional

@bigcid10

Your statement is somehow convincing, but although I've windows 10 on my new laptop, I'm running windows 7 on my older laptop and I'm happy with it and wanted to have the same office version to facilitate my work on both.

Regards

The office deployment tool is used to download and deploy office 365 pro plus on your clients computer .

I am sure you are missing out something with regards to the usage of ODT.

Hope this helps

  • By default, ProPlus2019Volume is chosen; If you are happy with that just hit Enter or you can choose the product you want to install by typing its name as in the list
    For example, I typed [ProPlus2019Retail]

You can use wotok.cmd to download, install, uninstall, update, activate and customize office.

You can install ProPlus2019Volume and you can even convert Retail to Volume after installation

If they found a way to installed Office 2019 in a non Windows 10 I think threre most be a way to installed Office 2019 side by side to Office 2016.

In my case I have installed Office 2013 side by side to Office 2016.

Depending of the worksheet I want to test I load the corresponding Office.

I know I need to reinstalled again once I finished using one of them, but somehow runs side by side.

This a question many have, including me:

Is there a way to installed Office 2019 side by side by Office 2016?

The answer have been until now that is not possible, but they say the same with Office 2019 installed in a non Windows 10 operating system.

Hello!
After successfully installing office 2019 on windows 7, activating it - Office 2019 does not update to the latest version. Do you also have this problem?

Every thing could happen, guess Abbodi and other professional encoders at MDL forums could soon discover it

But till now, this is the statement:

  • You can’t install two products together that have the same version but use different installation technologies. (e.g Office 2019 C2R & Office 2016 MSI)
  • You can’t install two products of different versions together if both products use Click-to-Run as the installation technology and those products have overlapping Office applications.

PS: Office 2016 & 2019 have the same version (16.0)

Unfortunately I encountered a problem today and lost all my data including office images

I suppose it'll ... Put it in the same folder along with office files and try.

I think this is related to the update channel whether monthly or semi-annual !!

Any way what is your current version ???
