I just want to clarify that I'm talking about roleplay where someone is pretending to be under 18 and there's clearly sexual elements going on, not sfw scenarios completely free from that kind of thing. I just want to stress that in case we're misunderstanding each other
I'd still say you're conflating two issues. Some people are into infantilization as a kink. They are adults and know they are adults, and are only engaging with other adults.

I don't know how to explain to you how just because consenting adults are engaging in a sexual fantasy that that doesnt automatically make it okay. If you can't understand why the sheer concept of "infantilizing" in a sexual rp is gross then this is probably a waste of time

That is a valid argument to what because in the "art" isn't two adults, it's a depiction of minors that are sexualized as minors. But an adult acting like a minor in reality is clearly still an adult. There is a clear division between fantasy and reality in the latter.
