I thought it’d be something like that. While I understand why you’d feel that way, at the end of the day, it’s still just a summoning method. I personally don’t care who introduces XYZ, just like how I didn’t care who introduced Synchro, Fusion, etc. Eventually almost everyone will have a monster of said summoning type anyways; who introduces it barely matters in this show. VR isn’t Arc-V, and whatever happens in VR isn’t going to take away from what happened in Arc-V.
True. It’s not as though I’m, like, super angry about this either (this is way too minor for me to actually be angry), just a little disappointed, I guess, as I was hoping for some nice hidden references in the first instance of Xyz being used that are applied to a character like (as we also got those in the first Ritual/Fusion/Synchro scenes).
I don’t doubt that the references will still be there, but… yeah, they probably won’t be to my liking.
It is true, though, that I’m rather attached to Xyz as a summoning method- more than to the other summoning methods available, so it’d be nice if the characters I like more at least got some nice Xyz monsters.

It’s the (obvious) reason of how I would’ve preferred a character I like more to represent “team Xyz” in the first instance of an Xyz summon being shown in Vr.
I mean, obviously, more characters are going use that summoning method as the show progresses and I’m perfectly okay with that. But I have a feeling I’m not going to enjoy the introduction of Xyz because while I’m mostly neutral about Takeru, he doesn’t strike me as a suitable character for this.
Especially after what Xyz used to stand for in Arc-V because I’ll of course never forget about my beloved Xyz trio and I just really would’ve preferred a thinker to introduce Xyz.

And yes, that woman is perfectly aware that her disgusting incense makes me feel dizzy, yet she doesn’t even bother warning me, so I can place a towel to cover the gap between my door and the floor in advance to at least minimize the damage - and of course, she very often doesn’t even open all windows afterwards, so that disgusting smoke gets out XX__XX
Oh, and just now, she literally got offended and yelled at me in response to me telling her to get the fuck out of my room and close the door immediately because - spoiler - that fucking incense smoke makes me feel dizzy and I don’t want more of it to get into my room than what I cannot avoid in the first place.

The choices have been narrowed down to the following:
Aquaringshipping - Named so because it incorporates both things that separated them, the ring, and what will reunite them, Aqua. “Aqua Ring” is also a healing move in the Pokémon franchise, and Aqua has healing powers.
Zinniashipping - Named so because zinnia is a flower that has “thinking of an absent friend” as one of its meanings which fits Aoi and Miyu. Aoi thinks of Miyu recently and Miyu apparently never forgot Aoi and thought of her even during the Lost Incident. Zinnia also symbolises strength and endurance and Aoi was the one giving Miyu strength to endure the Lost Incident. Since the zinnia is a flower, it also fits Aoi’s Trickstars who are named after flowers.
