What are some fragrance houses (or e-tailers) that have a neat and accessible sampling program?Discussion (self.fragrance)

Tauer of course. The Zoo's 4ml samples. Kyse also has 4ml and choice of a smaller size. January Scent Project. Auphorie. Smell Bent's Smellies.

E-tailers (I like spray samples which these all have): Indigo's 5-sample pack (sprays)of your choice for $18 is hard to beat. Olfactif. Surprisingly Fragrancenet. Searched by sample and found more than a thousand samples/minis. Outside of the US: Notino. In Canada, Indiescents and Niche Essence (though their brand lineup is smaller)

Bud Parfums from Australia, who have the amazingly named UGLY BASTARD , do 5 FREE samples, all you pay is shipping, which was reasonably quick/cheap to the UK

Costume National do a 15 euro 9 sampler set that includes a nice little shoulder bag. Just scroll right to the bottom to see it.

Penhaligon's has a sample pack of 10 2ml samples for $28 but it is currently sold out, unfortunately.

Bloom in the UK does sample sets by note, and they're excellent.

For fragrance houses, Masque Milano and MFK do very nice sets.

Mfk is a nice one, 14€ for 4 x 2 ml. I'll have to check out Masque Milano. Sometimes the shipping to the US is a bit ridiculous. April Aromatics has samples of their new perfume, but the cost for shipping would be as much if not more as the price of the sample.

Notino EU has samples for about 70% or more of their product, but it sucks that it's so expensive

I'm in the US, so we no longer have Notino. But I don't remember it as expensive. Which country are you in?

It's not expensive, it's actually cheaper than almost all retailers in my area, but they tend to rise prices if there's demand. For example CDNI is now 3 times more expensive than when it was lunched due to Aventus fans hearing about it

so this is one of the reasons i really like indie houses - their samples are so cheap! my favorite houses, alkemia and immortal perfumes, have GREAT sample packs at low prices. you get 4 (plus a freebie) from alkemia for $12 and immortalperfumes sells a pack of three for $15. their samples are larger and in cute lil brown glass bottle things. their prices are actually about average ime across the board but some run higher.

In my experience this is only occasionally true. Alkemia does have excellent and cheap sample packs, and off the top of my head The Strange South also has very cheap samples, but other brands like BPAL and Sixteen92 have samples that are about the same price as designer or niche perfumers, some are even more expensive. I just ordered a set of a dozen or so 0.7 ml samples from DSH and it came to ~70$.

Odore Mio (which is based in the UK) has 4 samples for Β£3 (plus P&P). I just ordered a sample pack and they sent me two extra samples for free. Which was nice.

Shout out to Tigerlily, they have samples of unusual things and their curated sets are super-awesome.

House of Matriarch has nice samples which you can buy individually or as themed sample sets. They are expensive but they are also large samples of very high quality fragrances with bottle-worthy sprayers. You could easily get 10 wearings out of a sample from her.

Osswald's will sell you a generous sample of any scent that they sell, and they come in spray packaging.

Both Areej Le DorΓ© and Bortnikoff offer nice sample sets of each collection when it is released, for the amount that you get they are a good value and sampling the whole collection really gives you a much better feel for the individual perfumes.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab sends me dozens of samples with every order, and you can also purchase individual samples of most of their scents (not limited releases though).

I really enjoyed all of the samples that I bought from Fiele Fragrances as well. It would be great if they had a discovery set though.

I did not know this. I always assumed they came in vials. I definitely will check them out.
